Merced County’s Sheriff deputies responded to the area for Myrtle Avenue near Irene Lane for a male on the side of the roadway.
First responders attempted life saving measures, unfortunately, the adult male succumbed to his injuries.
A loud boom was heard, according to some neighbors, who lived down the street.
This is being investigated as a homicide, detectives say he died of “suspicious circumstances”.
