On October 1, 2018, Merced City Council approved a new developmental agreement with Louann Bianch and Quad LLC, Property Owners.
The new developmental site will be located at the northwest and southwest corners of North Highway 59 and Santa Fe Drive in Merced. The developmental site is estimated to be around 8.83 acres.
The highest concern for the proposal was traffic in the surrounding area. The Merced City Council eventualy voted 5-1 with Council Member Anthony Martinez being the only one to vote no.
Louann Bianch and Quad LLC Property Owners, proposed the new site to include: Fast food restaurants, mini-market/car wash, and a drive-thru coffee kiosk.
No date has been determined when phase one will begin.
