At approximately 3:49 p.m., a male suspect fled from an officer on a bicycle near Taco Bell on MLK.
Soon after, additional MPD officers were called and quickly set up a perimeter around MLK, 14th, 15th, and G Streets.
The description went out to other officers indicating the suspect was described as 5’5, wearing a puffy 49ers jacket.
As MPD officers were searching yard to yard for the suspect, his bike was found near a fence. Another officer noted distinct foot tracks along a fence indicating he must of jumped over a fence.
Around 4:08 p.m., officers surrounded a house on 14th St./Colony Avenue where the suspect was then quickly detained.
