Late this evening, a wild pursuit took place in Merced County. The pursuit involved multiple agencies including: Atwater PD, Merced PD, Merced S.O, and CHP.
During the last minutes of the pursuit, the suspect’s vehicle went all over the City of Atwater.
According to officers, the suspect’s vehicle went the wrong way at times in an attempt to evade officers.
The suspect’s vehicle eventually came to a stop near Highway 99 and Liberty Avenue in Livingston.
According to officers, guns were drawn and the driver was last reported to be detained. It’s unknown at this time if there were any injuries or if there were other occupants inside the vehicle.
