Merced County Sheriff deputies and the Merced CHP responded to a shooting incident Tuesday night at Winton Park.
When Merced County Sheriff deputies and the California Highway Patrol arrived they located one deceased adult male and another adult male suffering from major injuries.
One victim was airlifted to a local hospital.
The deceased victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The park is now back open as of Wednesday morning.
