On Monday at approximately 6:03 P.M., a traffic collision involving two vehicles were reported on Santa Fe and Olive Ave in Winton.
According to officers, The Hyundai attempted to pass a vehicle on Santa Fe resulting in a traffic collision with the on coming Toyota Tacoma.
The Hyundai then went into a part of an orchard field due to impact. Unfortunately, one of the vehicles were reported to be from a recent carjacking incident.
Soon after the vehicle collision the suspect(s) then left the scene, labeling this incident as a hit-and-run. Thankfully, no major injuries were reported.
