On Wednesday, around 10:58 a.m., Sergeant David Sarginson observed a vehicle with an obscured plate and a broken rear window in the area of the Tractor Supply store in Atwater.
When an attempt was made to stop the vehicle, the driver fled over the Applegate overcrossing into the downtown area. The vehicle came to a stop, and the driver, later identified as 45 year old Gregory Deon Snyder of Dos Palos, fled on foot. He was located and arrested for 2 felony warrants and other Vehicle Code charges, and was booked into the Merced County Jail.
