On 8/23/2018, a report of a vehicle all over the roadway was reported on SR-99 across from Langtry Avenue in Atwater. The witness described the passenger side door was opening just about a mile before the vehicle went off the roadway . When first responders arrived, they said they seen one occupant from the vehicle walk away from the scene. Multiple units were then enroute.
The male suspect was described as a Caucasian male, wearing a black jacket, hat, backpack, and blue jeans.
After an extensive search, officers were unable to locate the suspect and a tow truck was then called. No major injuries were reported.
