Earlier today a short pursuit ended with two people detained near W. 6th street with a cross of R street.
According to officers, several items were thrown out of the vehicle during the pursuit. The suspect’s vehicle then crashed near a local church in Merced.
In the video one woman was in the back seat of the patrol vehicle. When the woman saw she was being filmed, she tried to hide.
