On Friday, September 7, 2018, the Merced Police Department’s Gang Violence Suppression Unit (GVSU) developed information that probationer Oscar Damian was selling drugs from his residence.

GVSU and Probation officers responded to his home in the 9600 block of Coronado Ct in Planada to conduct a probation search. Upon arrival, Oscar Damian was detained and officers contacted Gonzalo Damian and Patricia Damian. Officers searched the residence along with the K-9 unit and located over 11 pounds of meth, digital scales, packaging material, a 22 caliber handgun, ammunition and over $21,000 in cash. All three suspects were arrested for sales of narcotics and weapons charges. They were later booked at the Merced County jail for the mentioned charges.
