A 21-year-old female is now in custody after allegedly stabbing another female multiple times near Davenport Park, police say.
Officers found a 19-year-old female vicitm with multiple stab wounds. The suspect, Ashley Zaragoza, remained on scene, police say.
Detectives say Zaragoza allegedly tracked down the victim at a location she is known to frequent with friends during the evening hours. Based on statements provided, the motive of the attack is connected to a recent break-up with a person Zaragoza recently dated.
The 19-year old victim was airlifted. She is in stable condition, detectives say.
