There are a total of 145,267 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus globally, according to Johns Hopkins University & Medical Center. At least 70,296 people have recovered. Only 5,413 have died globally, others still pending, according to the data.
There is no confirmed cases in Merced County, but several organizations, meetings, and school activities have been canceled until further notice.
COVID-19 symptoms include: mild to severe respiratory illness, fever, cough and difficulty breathing. If symptoms develop, individuals should stay at home to limit exposure to others. Do not go to your provider’s office without calling ahead. Do not call 911 for suspected COVID-19 unless you are having a medical emergency.
