A new small business is set to open in Atwater, becoming the first of its kind in Merced County.

The business, named Mia’s Play House, will feature a small indoor playground designed to provide a safe space for children to play. The idea for this venture came to co-owner Sarah Arellano during a visit to a similar establishment outside the county. Excited by the concept, Sarah shared it with her Husband, co-owner Orlando Rodriguez, and together they began searching for a local location, eventually finding a spot at 1655 Bellevue Road.

Mia’s Play House will also include a designated area for toddlers who are too young to enter the main play structure, along with a selection of play toys.

The owners have announced that customers will have the option for walk-in access as well as monthly memberships.

While there is no official opening date yet, the owners hope to open before the end of the month.
