At the most recent Livingston City Council meeting, public works director, Anthony Chavarria, announced plans for a future dog park at Lucero Park.
The plans for the enclosed dog park is estimated to be 10,800 square feet and will also be equipped with poop stations and water fountains.
Pet waste stations have already been put at Joseph Gallo Park and Arakelian Park.
Livingston’s public works department will most likely build the enclosed fence to cut cost, according to Chavarria.
No exact date for the future dog park is determined at this time.
