Merced couple opens food truck in Merced.
Mayra Contreras ,33, told Merced Daily she grew up working in the restaurant business, working with her family at Trevino’s Mexican Restaurant when she was just 14-years-old. Through the years of working at Trevino’s, Mayra would often discuss opening her own food truck with her late father.
Mayra’s dream became a reality with the help of her boyfriend, Sergio Salcido, They would both open Antojitos EL TOCA, named after Mayra’s late father in 2021.
Since opening earlier this year, both owners say they’ve been receiving good feedback from costumers.
Antojitos EL TOCA is open Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-7:30 pm.
Antojitos EL TOCA is located 1619 I street near 16th Street in Merced.
