Man dead after being struck by train in Merced.
Merced Police responded to the 1500 block of V Street for a man who was struck by a train.
When officers arrived at 7:05 p.m., they found a 50-year-old man dead.
The man was pushing a stroller filled with items across the tracks when he was struck by the train, police say.
The name of the person is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin, police say.
