A 37-year-old man was airlifted after being shot in an alley of W. 18th Street on July, 18th, 2020.
Merced Police say, a man was awoken by hearing glass break in the alley around 1:06 a.m.. The victim checked to see if any of his property was vandalized. The victim then was confronted by two subjects, one of the subjects fired multiple rounds at him, striking him.
The victim was transported by air with non-life threatening injuries, police say.
