A woman was cited and released after crashing a vehicle into the home of an Atwater residence on Tuesday evening, police say.
Atwater PD responded to Drakeley Avenue near Winton Way for a vehicle into a residential structure. The vehicle crashed directly into a room where children were in, according to the homeowner.
No one was seriously injured during the crash.
The woman was cited and released for suspicion of DUI after being released by medical personnel, police say.
No name or booking photo is available.
When Merced Daily asked for a statement, the homeowner said, “I’ll see her in court.”
