Atwater PD served a search warrant for a shooting suspect on Arrowwood Lane on November 28, 2022.
Atwater PD arrested Brandon Villafan (suspect) for allegedly being involved in a shooting incident near Joan Faul Park back in August.
Villafan is accused of negotiating a firearms sale over the internet with a 17-year-old, police say.
During the exchange of the firearm, the shooting occurred, police say.
