Fire crews responded to an early afternoon structure fire on California Street in Winton.
When fire crews arrived at least 50% of one Apartment unit was engulfed, according to Cal Fire Battalion Chief John Slate.
An aggressive fire attack was initiated.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire to three apartment units, five other units were not destroyed, according to Slate.
One minor injury was reported. The individual was not transported at the time.
An unknown amount of people were displaced.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
