Winton, CA- A man attempted to lure a teenager into his vehicle while she was walking home.
According to the mother, her teenage daughter was dropped off by the school bus on Myrtle Avenue in Winton. While her daughter was walking home, an older adult driving a newer white four-door truck asked her several times to get in the vehicle and that he would give her a ride.
The man eventually left the area, and the teenager made it home safely.
“This was only her second day walking home after being dropped off by the school bus, and our family will no longer have her walk home.”
