The famous Michael Myers-themed house display will come-back to Atwater after a two-year hiatus.
Ben and Emily Auer, former Disney characters turned teachers, created their homemade Michael Myers-themed house display in 2020, which played visual scenes from parts of the 1978 horror flick movie Halloween.
In 2021, Auer unveiled their Halloween walkthrough featuring live actors, which was a huge success. They also were able to donate money to the Merced County Animal Shelter from the proceeds, which were from generous donations.
In 2022 and 2023, the Auers stepped away from their Halloween display locally and focused more on their family life. They welcomed their first child and bought a new house in Atwater.
Now in 2024, the Auers are back with a new location at 3131 Chablis Ln, Atwater, CA.
The display this year will go back to the original projection format of 2020, playing visual scenes from parts of the movie Halloween.
However, the Auers will not have a walkthrough but plan to bring it back in the near future.
You can view the Michael Myers-themed house display projection on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm, starting this Friday.
