In the early morning hours on November 28, 2018, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a home invasion robbery in Snelling. The victims reported several suspects entered their home armed with firearms and wearing ski masks. During the incident, there was a struggle over a gun and the homeowner and one suspect were shot both of whom are expected to survive their injuries.
