Merced County Sheriff’s Office Press Release:

DOS PALOS, CA – On January 25, 2019, the Merced County Sheriff’s Office Detectives Bureau arrested 22-year-old Dylan Ballard in connection with the Homicide that took place in the 21000 Block of Reynolds Avenue on January 19, 2019.

In the early morning hours of January 19th Merced County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a large party and a report of gunshots in the 21000 block of Reynolds Avenue in Dos Palos. When deputies arrived, they located two victims. One victim was transported to the Hospital via air ambulance and the second victim died at the scene.

Detectives booked Ballard into the Merced County Jail for murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and Accessory.
