On February 23, 2019 an alleged DUI driver crashed his vehicle head-on into another vehicle on Santa Fe between Bellevue Road and Spaceport Entry in Atwater. You can see the full story here- https://merceddaily.com/featured/head-on-collision-in-atwater/
But soon after Merced Daily received several messages on the alleged DUI driver posting a Facebook Live video, which was more than four minutes long of him in a vehicle driving on Santa Fe. Through the last several seconds of the video the video shows a disturbing outlook of him swerving in and out of traffic near Castle in Atwater. Several seconds later, the video seems to be interrupted as the alleged DUI driver apparently crashes his vehicle.
On February 24, 2019, the video was deleted just after 3:00 p.m.
The case is still under investigation.
