On March 6, 2019, the Atwater police Chief and the CDFA (California Department of Food and Agriculture) were at the upcoming new cannabis business “Bang Mingo” in Atwater to go over inspection and construction for the upcoming new cannabis business.
Herb Gallaway, the director of retail for Bang Mingo, tells Merced Daily, “Bang Mingo still plans on opening soon and will start off with hiring 15 full time and part time employees.”
When asked what the requirments are for hiring, Herb says, “It would be the same requirements as any other customer service retail business would be, but there will be an age requirement. You will have to be 21 and older.”
When asked what type of people Bang Mingo will be looking for, Herb tells Merced Daily, “Someone with great customer service skills and personality.”
The cannabis business will have one of the best locations in Merced County. It will be right next to Highway 99 on Bell Lane in Atwater.
