At around 7:21 a.m., a traffic collision involving a vehicle vs tractor trailer was reported on Almond Avenue and Vine Avenue in Winton.
Sgt. Franklin tells Merced Daily, “Both vehicles were going opposite directions when they collided.”
The male driver of the Hyundai Elantra suffered major injuries. He was transported by air to Doctors Memorial in Modesto.
Sgt. Franklin tells Merced Daily that the traffic collision is currently under investigation.
