Merced County Sheriff’s Office is an investigating a shooting incident that took place underneath a bridge on Highway 99/Campus Parkway in Merced.
Sometime early this morning one person was reported to be waving down traffic underneath the bridge on Highway 99/Campus Parkway.
When first responders arrived on scene, they noted one obvious fatality and one other person was suffering from gun shot wounds.
This incident is still under investigation.
