One man is in critical condition after he was shot in Merced.
Merced Police responded to the area of the 1600 blk of Primrose Avenue for a shots fired call at 11:30 p.m.
According to police, multiple callers advised that there was an altercation, and a vehicle was seen leaving the area. When officers arrived, they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital.
He is in critical condition.
