At approximately 9:09 a.m., a report of a transient assaulting a McDonald’s employee after refusing to leave the McDonald’s location on W 13th St. was reported in Merced.
When a Merced PD officer arrived on scene, the suspect was already gone. According to a witness, this is an on going issue at this particular McDonald’s location involving transients refusing to leave.
No injuries were reported in this incident.
