Two men were arrested after a catalytic converter theft, police say.
Merced Police responded to an early morning catalytic converter theft, Friday at 3:12 a.m.
The victim provided authorities with a good vehicle description of the suspects vehicle, which led officers to arresting two men, Mee Xiong and Thai Vue.
A catalytic converter and burglary tools resulted in the arrest, according to police.
Both men were booked for numerous charges, according to jail records.
Mee Xiong, 34, has now been arrested four times this year, according to arrest.org. His charges earlier this year included: Possession of a controlled substance, attempted grand theft, willful harm or injury to child, and specific conviction or outstanding warrants. His bail is currently $20,000.00, according to jail records.
