Nineteen year old, Zachery Ramos, aims to be the next Mayor of Gustine. Zachery is already getting support from many Gustine citizens.
Zachery is running against a council member who has been on council for over nine years and even though he’s been on the council for nine years, Zachery still received over 65% of local Gustine and Santa Nella businesses endorsements.
“I have also done something that no Mayor candidate has ever done in Gustine and I take trips out areas where Gustine citizens work at the local feeds like the tomato fields and actually work with them doing lines and listening to their stories. I am scheduled to go back again this month,” says Zachery in a message to Merced Daily.
Zachery also stated, “The people want someone new – new leadership, and that is me. I want to bring Gustine back to its former glory with nice family friendly restaurants, an ice cream shop that you can take your kids to after school and grab a burger and fries for dinner – grocery stores so the citizens of Gustine don’t have to drive all the way to the neighboring town to get some fresh produce. I love my town and I am going to work day and night like I’ve been doing to bring it back to life and get our Main Street a nice big helping of fresh paint and new businesses.”
