The Merced City Council is scheduled to host a town hall meeting in the neighborhood of Loughborough Drive.

The town hall meeting will be on Saturday, November 2, 2019.

“There’s a lot of challenges in the neighborhood, but I believe we can tackle them,” said Councilman Mathew Serratto.

Loughborough is home to nearly 3,000 people, according to Serrato.

“We want to engage the community, get people out, and get people talking to each other. We want to get the issues that are effecting people and figure out ways to solve them.” said Serrato.

The city is going to close off a section of Meadows and Loughborough for the town hall meeting.

There will be food, music, and games at the town hall meeting.

The town hall meeting will lead the way for a game plan to target issues moving forward in 2020, according to Serratto.
