A majority of downtown Merced businesses remain closed after temporarily closing due to the COVID-19 Virus. But one non essential business managed to stay open, online that is.
Merced MMA, a mixed martial arts academy, now going on their 13th year in business, has opened a new KidFit and Women’s Bootcamp class free of charge to the community.
In addition to KidFit and Women’s Bootcamp, Merced MMA members also have access to Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling virtual classes, as well Merced MMA’s online video library.
“We want to continue to connect with our supportive students and families, as well as offer a free service to the community during this temporary closure,” said Merced MMA Manager Amy Tome.
Merced MMA offers free classes for kids, and women’s bootcamp/conditioning using ZOOM, a remote conferencing services company.
Women’s Bootcamp is Monday’s and Wednesday’s from 5:40 p.m. to 6:15. p.m and Saturday’s and Sunday’s from 9:oo a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
