The annual Love Winton event was held at Crookham Elementary in Winton.

The event was on Saturday, September 21, 2019.

The Love Winton event began in 2012 by LifeLine Community and has gradually become bigger since, also collaborating with the Winton School District.

“We want to beautify our community and make sure it’s something we’re proud of”, said Superintendent Randall Heller.

More than 150 people came to the event.

Volunteers wore white and pink shirts showing their love for Winton.

Volunteers created groups of 10-15 people to tackle certain areas of Winton, according to Heller.

“There are 10 different areas we want to target, from Winton Park all the way across the railroads tracks to Bobbie Avenue.” said Heller.”

A BBQ was held for volunteers after the event at Crookham Elementary.
