Atwater City Fire responded to a structure fire at the 100 block of Cedar Avenue in Atwater.
The Structure fire was reported just before 6:00 p.m.
Heavy smoke was coming out the structure upon arrival, according to fire personnel.
Atwater PD shutdown a section of Shaffer Road and Cedar Avenue while firefighters contained the fire.
The structure is a vacant home and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
