Atwater PD responded to the area of Santa Fe near Wallace Rd. for a single vehicle rollover at 2:14 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located an overturned Nissan Sedan.
The initial investigation determined that a Nissan Sedan was driving eastbound at a high-rate of speed when the driver attempted to make a passing maneuver in back of another vehicle, driving head-on into the path of an incoming vehicle, the Nissan overcorrected, causing the vehicle rollover, police say.
One female sustained visible cuts from the vehicle rollover.
No information on the extent of injuries are provided at this time.
