At approximately 12:33 a.m., a head-on traffic collision was reported on 1-5/ Sr 152 in Merced County.
According to a witness one vehicle was driving the wrong way, which resulted in the head -on traffic collision.
When first responders arrived on scene, they noted one person appeared to be ejected from the vehicle. The subject appeared to be suffering from major head trauma including a possible broken arm. The subject was transported by ground to a local hospital.
First responders also noted a total of three vehicles were involved resulting in multiple minor injuries.
Its unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol are a factor in this traffic collision.
