Retro style arcade, bar to open in downtown Merced

Merced, Ca- After five years in the making, JOYSTIQ, will open in downtown Merced.

JOYSTIQ, a barcade, offers a variety of retro style arcade games, retro console games, 50 board games, and private karaoke room.

A full service bar area and restaurant, which will serve Mediterranean-American food, will also be available at JOYSTIQ.

According to Beltran, children are welcome to enter all day before 9pm.

“I hope people will enjoy it, this is why I built this place for people to come and have a good time,” Beltran said.

Hours of operation:

Monday (closed), Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (11am-midnight), Friday, Saturday (11am-2am), Sunday (11am-midnight).

JOYSTIQ opens on Thursday, January 19, 2022 at 11am.

JOYSTIQ is located at 325 W Main St. in Merced.
