JayCee Lane Boutique, a mobile boutique, now operates within Merced County.
Courtney Smith, co-owner of JayCee Lane Boutique, says she began working at a boutique after high school. She would work their for five years, learning the business side of managing and owning a storefront.
During Courtney’s employment working at the storefront boutique, she worked with Jenay Brandt, now co-owner of JayCee Lane Boutique. They would both bond instantly, creating a friendship.
After leaving the boutique, Courtney would work for an online business, managing as a buyer for the online company. She would learn a different side of the business. She would eventualy quit the company a year later.
The friendship of Courtney and Jenay would evolve, coming up with the idea of opening their own business, JayCee Lane Boutique, which is both of their names combined.
JayCee Lane Boutique is a mobile boutique, tailored towards women. The mobile boutique travels to special events, festivals, and home parties. The mobile boutique even includes a fitting room inside.
JayCee Lane Boutique, originally started in Stanislaus County, but now operates in Merced County.
The next pop-up event will be this Saturday in downtown Atwater outside Cocomo’s Salon & Day Spa, 10am-3pm.
