A 52-year-old woman is dead after a traffic collision on Santa Fe near Avenue Two.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal traffic collision on Santa Fe at 6:15 p.m.
According to CHP Officer Eric Zuniga, a 52-year-old woman was travelling eastbound on Avenue Two in a 2015 Nissan Sedan near Santa Fe, meanwhile, a male driver (39) was traveling southbound on the number two lane in a 2007 Toyota SUV on Santa Fe, approaching the intersection of Avenue Two. During that time, the female attempted to make a left turn, colliding into the Toyota.
Due to the impact of the crash, the Nissan also collided into a 2018 BMW.
No other injuries were reported.
Everyone involved in the crash cooperative with officers, Zuniga said.
The traffic collision is still under Investigation, Zuniga said.
