A woman was struck by a vehicle in Atwater, police say.

The Atwater Police Department responded to the area of E. Bellevue near Shaffer for a woman who was struck by a vehicle just before 6:00 p.m.

A driver of a Dodge Durango was traveling westbound when the woman was struck.

 

The Woman sustained non-life threatening leg injuries, according to police.

She was transported to a out of area hospital, police say.

The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with authorities.

Alcohol was determined NOT to be a factor, police say.
