At approximately 7:50 p.m., a report of a traffic collision was reported on Highway 99 near Westside Blvd. in Atwater. At least one person was reported to be pinned inside the vehicle. When officers arrived on scene, they were able to confirm one person was indeed pinned inside a Ford Explorer and noted an obvious fatality.
