Earlier this evening an elderly woman was reported missing near McDonalds on 13th Street after she wandered off from her family.
Merced PD quickly responded to the missing person call, and set up a perimeter.
After an extensive search through several blocks, the woman was eventually found nearly an hour later at approximately 5:46 p.m. in an alleyway on 15th and Q Streets by an MPD officer.
No injures reported.
This incident ends on a positive note.
