The Merced County Sheriff’s department and Merced CHP responded to a shooting incident on Friday evening just after 6:40 p.m.
A shooting victim was located near Walnut Avenue and Suzi Street.
The shooting victim, male, was airlifted with non-life threatening injuries at Winton Park.
He was then transported to Modesto hospital.
No additional information is available, according to Alexandra Britton, the public information officer for the Merced County Sheriff’s department.
