On February 26, 2019 at approximately 8:15 p.m., a traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported on Santa Fe and Avenue 2 in Atwater.
According to CHP officer Eric Zuniga, a vehicle was traveling Northbound on Santa Fe and attempted to make a left turn on Avenue two. The vehicle then turned directly into the path of a vehicle traveling South of Santa Fe causing the traffic collision.
One woman was then transported by Riggs to Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries.
No major injuries reported.
