The Merced DMV will open along with 45 other DMV field locations throughout the state.
The DMV will be assisting customers with a current appointment at the specific office and limited transactions that require an in-person visit, according the DMV website.
Behind-the-wheel driving tests are still suspended at this time
The DMV has begun rescheduling prior appointments and notifying customers of the new date. The DMVÂ continues to encourage customers to use online services, its expanded virtual services and other service channels to complete transactions, including eligible driver license and vehicle registration renewals.
The Merced DMV will reopen on Thursday, May 28, 2020, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the exception of opening at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
