Merced Police officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision on E.21st Street and Glen Avenue just before 6:00 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found one man in critical condition from the collision.
First responders attempted life-saving measures, but unfortunately, the man was pronounced deceased on the scene.
Details are preliminary, but police say two people were injured, and an adult male was killed in the collision.
Due to a collision, traffic was diverted at the intersection of E.21st and Glen Ave.
What led to the crash is currently under investigation, police say.
