Merced Police responded to a shots fired call on Denver Way and Frankfort Ct. at 5:06 a.m.
According to police, officers were directed to a male gun shot victim near the area. The male was unresponsive, and officers tried life-saving measures. However, the gunshot victim died on the scene.
Shortly after locating the first gunshot victim, another gunshot victim was found near the area. He was transported to a local hospital, police say.
Currently, no further information is available. According to the police, the detectives are still investigating the incident.
