On 12/21/2018, the Merced County Rescue Mission hosted their homeless memorial service at the Gazebo at Applegate Park in Merced.
Overall it was a great turnout; several people spoke at the event such as family members of those whose loved ones have passed, homeless advocates, and a former homeless man who was given a second chance to turn his life around.
